1. Wrong Token/Network

• Deposited a digital asset that is not listed or has already been delisted on BTCC.

• Deposited via a blockchain network that is not supported or has already been delisted on BTCC.

2. Deposit with Missing/Incorrect Tag (Tag/Memo)

A “Tag” or “Memo” is an additional address feature required to identify the recipient beyond the wallet address. For certain digital assets such as XRP, TON, and XLM, you must enter the correct Tag or Memo information in order for the transfer to be valid.

 

In simple terms, when depositing certain tag-required tokens to BTCC via specific blockchains, you must provide the corresponding Tag or Memo for the deposit to be successfully credited.

 

3. Are There Fees for Recovering Deposits?

The table below outlines common erroneous deposit scenarios, the estimated processing time, applicable fees, and the expected outcome (refund or credit).

Please note: Due to factors such as development resources, manpower, and technical complexity, we cannot guarantee that funds can always be successfully recovered, nor can all deposit errors be rectified. This table does not represent a commitment by BTCC to recover your funds under all circumstances. Your funds are ultimately your own responsibility; therefore, please carefully review our services before use. 4. Why Might My Request Be Rejected?

Cases Not Accepted:
• Deposits of any token via an unsupported network.
• Wrong network deposit where the transaction has been on-chain for more than 3 months.
• Wrong network deposit with a value less than 100 USDT.

Common Reasons for Rejection:
• Incorrect Transaction ID/Hash or Address: If the transaction ID/hash does not match the address, we will be unable to locate the transaction on the blockchain. We strongly recommend copying and pasting the transaction details instead of entering them manually.
• Deposit Amount Mismatch: The amount you submitted does not match the record on the blockchain.
• Funds Already Credited: The funds you attempted to recover have already been credited before or during the recovery process. Please check your deposit status before submitting a request.
• Unconfirmed or Untraceable Transaction: Your transaction has not yet been confirmed or cannot be found on the blockchain. Please ensure the status is “Confirmed/Successful” and that you can view the full details on a blockchain explorer.
• Transaction Amount is 0: The amount recorded on the blockchain shows “0,” and such transactions cannot be processed.
• Non-Deposit Related Transactions: The transaction you submitted is unrelated to deposit recovery (e.g., withdrawal, fiat transactions, or account operations).
• Unsupported Contract Address: Assets were deposited to an unsupported contract address, or the deposited token (including but not limited to unofficial or counterfeit tokens), contract address, or amount does not meet the required conditions.
