How to Change Mobile Phone Number / Email</h2> Self-service conditions: Your account must be bound to both a mobile phone number and an email to use self-service modifications.Scenario A: Both the original email and mobile phone number can receive verification codes・Change email: enter the original email verification code + the new email verification code + the SMS verification code ・Change mobile phone number: enter the original SMS verification code + the new SMS verification code + the email verification code + the account passwordAfter completion: Withdrawals will be disabled for 24 hours after the change (the system will automatically resume after the time limit). Scenario B: One of the original email or mobile phone number cannot receive verification codes ・On the self-service modification page, click [Unable to Verify]. ・Example: You want to change your mobile phone number but cannot receive the original SMS verification code → select [Mobile Phone Number] → enter the email verification code + login password as prompted to reset/unbind the mobile phone number. ・Similarly, if you want to change the email but cannot receive the original email verification code, you may use the SMS verification code + login password to complete verification.After completion: Withdrawals will likewise be disabled for 24 hours. Operation path App: Log in → [Security Settings] → select “Email / Mobile Phone Number” → select “Change Mobile Phone Number / Change Email” → follow on-screen prompts to complete verification (click [Unable to Verify] if needed to enter the fallback verification process).Website: Log in → [Account Security] → only email changes are supported; to change your mobile phone number, please use the App or seek assistance via Live Chat (online support). When Live Chat (online support) is required ・Neither the mobile phone nor the email can receive verification codes; or the page indicates manual review is required; or other exceptions (e.g., additional KYC information needed).・Path: App (top right of the Home page) / Live Chat (online support) at the bottom right of the website. On the BTCC platform, you can complete account registration in just a few minutes. Please refer to the registration steps below:

To register a BTCC account, you can visit the BTCC website or download the BTCC mobile app, then register using your email address or mobile number. Please note that each email address or mobile number can only be used to register one BTCC account.
 
Open the BTCC App, tap “Login” on the home page to enter the login and registration page. Then use your mobile number (make sure to select the correct country/region code) or email address to complete the registration as prompted. (If you have an invitation code during registration, please enter it as well.)

Additionally, you can also register directly via Google. The email address linked to your Google account will be used to create your BTCC account.

You can also register through an “invitation link” shared by somebody who invited you or by entering an “invitation code”. By registering through an invitation, you will receive a 5 USDT coupon as a reward. In addition, for each trade you complete, you will receive a 5% rebate on the trading fee, up to a total of 400 USDT.

BTCC only offers one account per person. Therefore, one mobile number can only be used to bind one account on BTCC.

How to Bind a Mobile Number

Google Authenticator is a form of two-factor authentication (2FA) that helps to verify a user’s identity. It creates a verification code that is refreshed within a specific time frame. Aside from your account password, enabling Google Authenticator on BTCC can help enhance your account security.

 2. Select 'Enter key manually' / 'Enter a setup key' Fill in your BTCC account email/phone and paste the key.

In the field ‘Account name’, create an account name for this key. A suggestion would be ‘BTCC - Your registered email/phone number’.
In the field ‘Your key’, paste the key you copied earlier from the BTCC app. Tap Add to complete the set up.
On the main page of the Google Authenticator app, locate the verification code that is under the account name you’ve just set for BTCC. Remember the code or copy it by tapping and holding the code.

If you are changing your phone/device, you can set up Google Authenticator on your new phone/device with the following steps:

If your device is lost, you can still bind Google Authenticator with your BTCC account on your new device with the BTCC key you saved before*.

Q3: Is it mandatory to enable Google Authenticator on BTCC?
No, it’s not mandatory to enable Google Authenticator on BTCC. Google Authenticator is a type of 2FA method. BTCC currently offers the following 2FA options: Google Authenticator, mobile number verification, and email verification.
It is up to the user to decide whether he/she would like to enable all 2FA methods.
However, for account security, users are required to enable at least one 2FA method, aside from the account password, for withdrawals.

How to set up Google Authenticator

<h2>1. Under what circumstances do I need to reset my Google Authenticator?</h2>
There are two circumstances where you will need to change/reset your Google Authenticator:
When you change your phone/device, you will need to set up Google Authenticator on your new phone/device. When you accidentally deleted the Google Authenticator app, or you lost the device that you previously used to set up Google Authenticator.
 
<h2>2. If you need to replace your phone/device, and the original phone/device is still with you:</h2>
Please follow the below guide on Google’s website to transfer Authenticator codes to your new phone according to your device type.

How to Reset Google Authenticator

<h2>1. What is two-factor verification?</h2>
 
Two-factor authentication (2FA) uses two different methods to authenticate identity, adding a verification code that is refreshed regularly.
2FA provides an additional layer of security for the account, preventing unauthorized access to users’ accounts on BTCC.

In addition to the account password, BTCC also provides the following 2FA methods:
 
Google Authenticator
After enabling Google Authenticator for your BTCC account, you will see a 6-digit verification code that changes every 30 seconds on the Google Authenticator app. This is the Google Authenticator code.

How to secure your BTCC account

This notice is intended for individual users registered with BTCC and clarifies precautions, data handling, and security reminders before and after submitting an account deletion request.
 
<h2 id="h_01K5GGT93NWNENBMX99R9ZMQ30">I. Pre-Deletion Preparations</h2>
 
• Before initiating deletion, be sure there are no assets remaining in the account and complete all withdrawals.
 
• If you recently changed your login password, fund password, bound email, or phone number, the system will trigger a 24-hour withdrawal security observation period. Withdrawals are restricted during this period; to avoid delays, we recommend submitting your deletion request after the period ends.
 
• Additionally, for risk control and compliance convenience (optional), it is recommended to close positions in advance, cancel open/conditional orders, and disable API / Copy Trading and other automated features to prevent new fund or trading changes during processing. If you need records for reconciliation or tax retention, please export your history before proceeding.

 • Login and trading functions for the account will no longer be available; deposit and withdrawal functions will be disabled.
 
• The account’s deposit and withdrawal services will no longer be provided.

Follow the prompts to provide your registered phone/email and the reason for deletion for verification. Our agent will create a follow-up ticket for you.

• Email (Alternative): From the email address bound to your BTCC account, send a message to support@btcc.com. We recommend using the subject line “Account Deletion Request” and including your registration details and a brief reason in the body. Support will verify and follow up.
