Mirandus Unleashes Pets & Game-Changing Upgrades – Your Next Obsession Arrives
Mirandus just dropped a bombshell update—pets are now prowling its fantasy realm, alongside gameplay tweaks that’ll make veterans relearn their strategies. Here’s why it matters.
Tame the Wild (or Buy the Dip)
Companion creatures aren’t just cosmetic—they dig up loot, scout threats, and probably out-earn your average DeFi yield farm. Expect a gold rush for rare breeds as players flip digital Mastiffs for ETH.
Combat Gets a Haircut
New dodge mechanics slice through clunky animations like a hot knife. Enemy AI now adapts mid-fight—meaning your old cheese tactics just got patched into oblivion.
The Grind Got a Glow-Up
Crafting trees now branch into niche specializations. Blacksmiths can forge rune-etched blades, while alchemists… well, let’s just say ‘herbal’ remedies have never been more profitable.
Why This Isn’t Just Another Update
Mirandus’ tokenomics just got teeth—every pet trade, potion brew, and sword swing feeds the ecosystem. Meanwhile, triple-A studios are still figuring out how NFTs work. *Slow clap.*

In a recent update from Gala Games, the fantasy MMORPG Mirandus is set to introduce a range of new features aimed at enhancing player experience. The update, released in July 2025, brings pets into the game, offering more than just companionship for adventurers exploring the expansive world of Mirandus.
Introducing Pets
Players can now equip pets that provide unique buffs and bonuses, tailored to each pet type. Whether choosing a hawk or a mighty dragon, these allies can offer strategic advantages. For instance, different pets like the Owl, Bald Eagle, and Frost Dragon provide specific defensive boosts against various attack types, such as crush, pierce, and frost attacks.
Gala Games has noted that these buffs are subject to change as the game evolves, with some features, like the final buffs for Frost Dragon and Phoenix, still in development. In the interim, temporary substitute effects will be applied, and the Phoenix model will temporarily use the Hawk's model.
Enhanced Goblin Brutes
The Goblin Brute has been made more challenging with improved artificial intelligence, making it harder to isolate from its group. Furthermore, its light attack now inflicts area-of-effect damage, requiring players to adopt strategic positioning to engage effectively.
Exploring as Hollows
For players without an Exemplar, the option to explore as a Hollow is now available. However, Hollows face significant limitations due to their incompatibility with the mysterious force known as MTRM. These penalties include the inability to equip pets or multiple weapons, and being restricted to a single consumable item at a time.
The Hollow's availability is tied to the "A Glimpse into the Unknown" event, which ends soon, offering a limited window for exploration as these unique characters.
Inventory System Overhaul
Addressing player feedback, GALA Games has revamped the inventory system from a grid-based to a functionally unlimited system. This change is particularly beneficial for players with extensive NFT collections, ensuring seamless gameplay without inventory limitations. The update anticipates a future transition to a weight-based inventory system, further enhancing the game’s mechanics.
These updates highlight Gala Games' commitment to evolving Mirandus and enhancing the gaming experience for its community. As players explore these new features, the dynamic world of Mirandus promises to offer fresh challenges and opportunities.
