Nvidia Cuts Deal to Build AI ’Factories’ in Saudi Arabia—Because Oil Barons Need Robot Overlords Too
Nvidia just inked a partnership to construct AI infrastructure in the Saudi desert—because nothing says ’visionary tech investment’ like petrodollars chasing the hype cycle.
The chip giant’s move positions Riyadh as an unlikely AI hub, with sovereign wealth funds now betting on GPUs instead of oil rigs. Local analysts whisper about ’diversification,’ while Wall Street quietly rolls its eyes.
One thing’s certain: When the sand settles, Nvidia’s stock will moon while Saudi VCs learn the hard way that AI factories need more than just cash and sunshine.

Nvidia & Saudi Arabia’s ‘Humain’ Unveil New Strategic Partnership
In recent years, the surge in AI technology demand has been undeniable, with incredible growth and development following closely. Indeed, Nvidia (NVDA) is a company that has sat squarely at the center of that growth. In 2024, its importance was clearly seen in its 174% stock surge that dominated Wall Street.
Its efforts to build artificial intelligence infrastructure have not ceased in 2025. Specifically, Nvidia has announced a new strategic partnership with Saudi Arabia’s subsidiary Humain to build AI factories in the country. According to a press release, the two companies will cooperate to “establish Saudi Arabia as a global leader in AI, GPU cloud computing, and digital transformation” to drive global innovation.
Humai is committed to building 500-megawatt-powered factories in the country, the press release notes. Moreover, those will be powered by Nvidia’s GPUs over the next five years. Within the first phase, they will deploy 18,000 Nvidia GB300 Grace Blackwell AI supercomputer chips.
“AI , like electricity and the internet, is essential infrastructure for every nation,” Nvidia CEO Jensen Huang said. “Together with Humain, we are building AI infrastructure for the people and companies in Saudi Arabia to realize the bold vision for the kingdom.” Specifically, the partnership is key to helping the digital leadership goals of the Saudi Arabia Vision 2030 come to fruition
