Japan’s FSA Grants Regulatory Recognition to XRP and 100+ Cryptocurrencies in Major Policy Shift
Japan's Financial Services Agency (FSA) has formally recognized Ripple's XRP alongside over 100 other digital assets, including Cardano's ADA and Solana's SOL, in a sweeping regulatory update that clears these cryptocurrencies for trading on registered exchanges like Binance and Coinbase within the country. The landmark decision mandates that all 28 FSA-registered platforms must obtain approval for each listed token, effectively integrating these major altcoins into Japan's formal financial infrastructure and signaling a significant maturation of the nation's crypto regulatory landscape.
