Can you iron a kilim rug?
Excuse me, I'm a bit curious about something. I've heard that some people attempt to iron various types of rugs to straighten out creases or wrinkles, but I'm wondering specifically about kilim rugs. Is it actually possible to iron a kilim rug? I understand that kilim rugs are woven differently from other types of rugs, so I'm wondering if the heat from an iron could potentially damage the fibers or the intricate patterns in any way. Would you happen to know if it's SAFE and effective to iron a kilim rug, or if there are better alternatives for removing creases and wrinkles?
