On the other hand, cryptocurrencies like Bitcoin and Ethereum are also decentralized networks, but focused on financial transactions. So, are IPFS and crypto related in any significant way? Does IPFS utilize cryptographic techniques similar to those found in cryptocurrencies? Or is the relationship more conceptual, in that both aim to disrupt traditional, centralized systems? Clarifying this relationship would help me better understand the broader implications of these emerging technologies.
