I heard about a trick where you can use 4 spoons and a coin to create a battery. I'm curious if this is actually true or just a hoax. Has anyone tried it and can confirm if the 4 spoon battery coin trick really works?
The experiment appears deceptively straightforward. At a glance, it seems like a simple setup involving batteries, which might mislead one to believe that it could potentially function as intended.

This single point of contact is insufficient to initiate the Flow of electricity. As such, the experiment, despite its seemingly plausible setup, fails to deliver the expected results.

But appearances can be deceiving. Despite its simplicity, there's a catch to this experiment. It is not as it seems, and the reality behind it is quite different.

The truth is, for electricity to commence flowing, a crucial requirement must be met. Both terminals of a battery must establish a connection with the circuit for the process to commence.

In this particular experiment, however, a fundamental aspect is missing. Upon closer inspection, you will notice that only one end of the battery is in contact with the fork.
