Ford's stock keeps climbing—Ranger lease deals fuel another rally for the legacy automaker.

Lease Strategy Pays Off

Aggressive leasing packages on the Ranger lineup continue pushing Ford's stock upward, proving that even traditional auto giants can still find growth levers to pull when needed.

Market Response

Investors rally behind the renewed momentum, betting that short-term incentives might just keep the engine running a while longer—because nothing says 'stable growth' like discount-driven volume, right?

The Ranger has made a name for itself as a quality mid-size entrant that is perhaps more accessible and more readily useful for the standard driver who is not hauling granite blocks or towing huge trailers. A recent redesign gave it a sharper cosmetic appeal, so all that was left was to help get these trucks into drivers’ garages and driveways.

Ford will have three lease deals available for the Ranger: the Ranger XLT will be yours for an opening payment of $4,459 plus $359 per month for 36 months. The XL starts with $3,832 due at signing and a monthly payment of $307 for 48 months. Finally, the Lariat is yours for $5,028 due at signing, and $463 per month for 48 months.

A Former Racer Can be Yours

We all know that Ford has a lot of racing connection, so it really should not come as a surprise that several Ford cars have racing credentials. In fact, Ford is selling some of these now, a set of Focus RS hatchbacks that were part of the Adrenaline Academy.

These are fairly older models, dating back to 2016, and one of the models was reportedly priced at $20,000. Fair warning, though: as these were “instructional vehicles,” it is a SAFE bet they were neither lightly used nor infrequently used. Mileage and wear issues may be a factor here, so for anyone interested in getting one, doing your due diligence is quite advised. Still, for those who want an actual racing vehicle in their garage, this may be the best chance to get one.

Is Ford Stock a Good Buy Right Now?

Turning to Wall Street, analysts have a Hold consensus rating on F stock based on two Buys, eight Holds and three Sells assigned in the past three months, as indicated by the graphic below. After a 6.78% rally in its share price over the past year, the average F price target of $10.60 per share implies 9.79% downside risk.
