Forget traditional scoreboards—the real action's happening in your pocket. IBM and the USTA just dropped a suite of AI-powered features that'll make this year's US Open feel like sci-fi meets center court.

Real-Time Insights That Actually Matter

We're talking predictive analytics that forecast match outcomes before even the savviest bettors can blink, plus personalized content streams that learn what you care about—all served up without the typical corporate fluff. It's clean, it's fast, and it actually works.

Why This Isn’t Just Another Gimmick

Unlike half-baked blockchain projects that overpromise and underdeliver, this collab leverages IBM’s Watson AI to process insane volumes of data—player stats, historical performance, even real-time crowd sentiment. No token needed, just pure computational muscle.

Bottom line? While crypto bros are still trying to figure out practical use cases, legacy tech giants are quietly building the future—one algorithm at a time. Maybe worth a look before your next ‘utility token’ investment.

The tool is built on IBM’s watsonx Orchestrate platform, using large language models like IBM Granite, and is trained on the tournament’s editorial style to generate real-time responses based on match data. Other tools include an updated SlamTracker, which now provides live “Likelihood to Win” projections for every singles match. These probabilities change throughout the match by factoring in stats, expert input, and momentum shifts. Also returning is AI Commentary, which uses artificial intelligence to generate both audio and subtitles for post-match highlights.

These updates come as demand for more interactive and personalized digital experiences continues to rise. In fact, a global survey by Morning Consult that was commissioned by IBM found that 86% of tennis fans value AI-powered tools, especially for real-time insights and custom highlights. As a result, the USTA’s Brian Ryerson explained that the organization has worked closely with IBM in order to build a long-term technology plan.

Is IBM a Buy, Sell, or Hold?

Turning to Wall Street, analysts have a Moderate Buy consensus rating on IBM stock based on eight Buys, five Holds, and one Sell assigned in the past three months, as indicated by the graphic below. Furthermore, the average IBM price target of $294.69 per share implies 22.25% upside potential.
