Tesla just scored the Street's most aggressive vote of confidence yet.

AI-Driven Valuation Leap

Wedbush's Daniel Ives slapped a whopping $600 price target on TSLA - the highest among major analysts. The catalyst? Tesla's artificial intelligence capabilities reaching inflection point.

Beyond Electric Vehicles

The upgrade signals Wall Street's growing recognition that Tesla's value extends far beyond car manufacturing. Ives points to neural network advancements and autonomous driving data as key differentiators.

Market Implications

This target represents a staggering premium to current trading levels. While traditional auto analysts scratch their heads about P/E ratios, tech-focused firms see Tesla dominating the AI infrastructure race.

Of course, when an analyst sets a price target that requires near-perfect execution for two years straight, it makes you wonder if they're forecasting or fantasy gaming. But in today's market, who needs fundamentals when you've got AI buzzwords?

A long-time Tesla bull, Ives is a five-star analyst on TipRanks. He ranks #392 out of 10,050 analysts tracked, with a success rate of 56% and an average return per rating of 15.40%. TSLA stock is up 1.4% in pre-market trading on the news.

Tesla Is Set for ‘Next Stage of its AI Autonomous Path’

Ives believes that Tesla is entering an accelerated AI-driven phase and investors are “underestimating” the transformation at the electric vehicle (EV) maker. He added that Tesla is making significant progress in driving its AI revolution, with autonomy and robotics at the forefront, as it heads into 2026. This shift could be transformative and critical in shaping the company’s future.

Ives is confident that Tesla’s AI-driven autonomous driving initiatives will be the “biggest growth chapter in the EV maker’s history.” With the September quarter ending soon and the $7,500 in EV tax credit deadline approaching, analysts expect elevated auto deliveries due to customers accelerating purchases.

Ives remains highly optimistic about Tesla’s growth potential. Earlier, he projected that Tesla’s AI and autonomous potential alone could be worth $1 trillion. Robotaxi initiatives are expected to fast-track under the TRUMP administration, clearing the way for Tesla’s Full Self-Driving (FSD) ambitions.

Ives’ bull case scenario projects Tesla reaching a $2 trillion market cap by early 2026 and $3 trillion by the end of 2026. His assumptions include a full-scale volume production of FSD and robotaxi technologies.

What Is the Prediction for Tesla Stock?

Not all analysts share the same enthusiasm about Tesla. On TipRanks, TSLA stock has a Hold consensus rating based on 14 Buys, 12 Holds, and eight Sell ratings. The average Tesla price target of $327.90 implies 22.6% downside potential from current levels. Year-to-date, TSLA stock has gained 4.8%.
