Top gainers
Eternal led the rally, surging 2.96 per cent to ₹337.90. Sun Pharma gained 1.77 per cent to ₹1,648.90.
Infosys ROSE 1.13 per cent to ₹1,540.25, while HDFC Bank advanced 1.05 per cent to ₹976.55. HCLTech added 0.84 per cent, closing at ₹1,493.70.
Top losers
Tata Motors was the biggest laggard, slipping 1.13 per cent to ₹711.00. Trent fell 1.04 per cent to ₹5,144.50.
Bajaj Finance dropped 0.83 per cent to ₹998.15, UltraTech Cement declined 0.71 per cent to ₹12,625.35, while Asian Paints ended 0.63 per cent lower at ₹2,478.30.
