Brands’ performance

Mamaearth, the flagship brand, showed sequential improvement with growth in focus categories across key channels including e-commerce, modern trade and general trade. NielsenIQ data indicates Mamaearth’s retail footprint expanded to 2,40,113 FMCG outlets, a 20 per cent increase year on year.

The Derma Co. maintained strong momentum with face cleansers becoming its third category to cross ₹100-crore annual run rate after serums and sunscreens. The face cleanser category grew over 100 per cent year on year.

General trade distribution showed positive trajectory with direct outlet billing increasing 50 per cent year on year. The company’s younger brands delivered over 20 per cent growth during the quarter.

“Our focus categories reaffirm the strength of our category-first approach,” said Varun Alagh, Chairman and CEO, highlighting the company’s emphasis on select category segments and awareness-led brand building.
