Bybit Expands Gold & FX Suite to Include 78 Major Stocks

Bybit just bulldozed the line between crypto and traditional finance—throwing 78 major stocks into its trading mix alongside gold and forex pairs. Because nothing says ’decentralized future’ like trading Apple shares next to your Bitcoin stash.

The move targets crypto natives craving exposure to legacy markets without the soul-crushing paperwork of traditional brokers. Think Tesla, Netflix, and Nvidia—now accessible between your altcoin swings.

Another exchange playing dress-up as a neo-bank? Maybe. But with institutions still treating crypto like a back-alley poker game, Bybit’s giving traders the hybrid platform Wall Street won’t.

TLDR

  • Bybit Adds 78 Stocks for USDT Trading
  • Trade Apple, Tesla & More with No Fiat Needed
  • Enjoy 50% Off Stock Fees Until June 15
  • Get Auto Dividend Payouts via CFDs
  • Bybit Expands Despite $1.5B Hack Setback

Bybit has extended its Gold & FX offering to support trading 78 global stocks using USDT as the base currency. The platform enables traders to speculate on stock prices through Contracts for Difference, without owning the underlying assets. This development bridges the gap between cryptocurrency markets and traditional equities, offering streamlined trading from one account.

Bybit now allows users to trade top global stocks directly with USDT as part of its Gold & FX (MT5) expansion. The new feature covers 78 major equities across tech, automotive, energy, and e-commerce sectors. Users can access traditional assets like stocks, gold, oil, indices,…

The new offering includes companies like Meta, Tesla, Apple, Nvidia, and Amazon, which are part of the initial trading basket. Traders can now directly access stocks alongside gold, oil, and forex products within the crypto platform. This expansion eliminates the need for fiat conversion, allowing seamless capital flow across multiple asset classes.

Bybit aims to provide greater market flexibility while maintaining its crypto-native foundation. Stablecoin-based trading ensures consistent pricing and rapid execution without exposure to fiat volatility. With over 70 million users, the exchange continues to build multi-asset accessibility under one ecosystem.

Bybit Introduces Fixed Trading Fees and Dividend Adjustments

Stock trading fees are set at 0.04 USDT per share, with a minimum charge of 5 USDT per transaction. Users will benefit from a 50% fee discount on stock trades made between June 2 and June 15. This promotional period aims to encourage early adoption and platform engagement.

CFD holders may receive dividend adjustments depending on the ex-dividend status of the listed stocks. These adjustments reflect real-market dividend payouts and are automatically credited or debited. Bybit ensures transparency in these events through automated processes and clear trading records.

This structure supports fair pricing and mirrors traditional market conditions without physical share ownership. Profits and losses are settled on the difference between entry and exit points, allowing users to benefit from price movement without managing custodial risks.

Bybit Reinforces Multi-Asset Strategy Despite Security Setback

Bybit continues expanding its offerings after a reported $1.4 billion crypto theft involving a cold wallet breach in February. CEO Ben Zhou confirmed that user funds remained SAFE and that the platform maintained full operational capacity. The company reported no service interruption and reaffirmed its financial solvency.

Despite the incident, Bybit’s growth remains steady as it moves toward unified access to crypto and traditional markets. The equities integration adds to a suite that already includes crypto derivatives, spot assets, and commodity pairs. With this step, Bybit strengthens its position as a multi-asset trading hub for global users.

The MOVE reflects rising demand for hybrid trading services among crypto users seeking exposure to traditional assets. Other firms like Kraken and Crypto.com have launched similar services to align with evolving trader preferences. Bybit’s USDT-based approach provides a unique angle that simplifies asset transitions within a digital-native platform.

Future Outlook

Bybit’s equities rollout under its Gold & FX suite introduces traditional stock access within a crypto-first framework. This expansion offers regulated-like exposure, stablecoin pricing, and user-friendly integration across various assets. The platform continues positioning itself as a comprehensive solution for global investors seeking unified asset exposure.
