Google Integrates Polymarket & Kalshi Prediction Market Data – Now Searchable in Real-Time

Google Adds Prediction Market Data from Polymarket and Kalshi to Search Platform

Google just made betting on the future as easy as checking the weather.

The tech giant quietly rolled out integration of prediction market data from crypto-native Polymarket and regulated platform Kalshi directly into search results. Now users can track real-time odds on everything from election outcomes to Fed rate decisions without leaving Google.

Prediction markets meet mainstream search

This move effectively turns Google into a de facto aggregator for speculative trading – though they'd never phrase it that way. The 'information' framing conveniently bypasses regulatory scrutiny while giving retail traders another dopamine hit of financialization.

Wall Street analysts are already calling it 'the Bloomberg Terminal for degens' – though unlike actual terminals, these markets still can't decide if ETH will hit $10K before the next crypto winter.

TLDR

  • Google is integrating prediction market data from Kalshi and Polymarket into Google Search and Google Finance, allowing users to see real-time odds on future events
  • Users will be able to type questions directly into Google’s search bar to view market probabilities and track how forecasts have changed over time
  • The feature is part of a broader AI-powered upgrade to Google Finance that includes Deep Search powered by Gemini models and live earnings features
  • Other major platforms including Robinhood, MetaMask, and World App have also recently integrated prediction markets into their services
  • The rollout is currently available through Google Labs with broader access expected in the coming weeks

Google announced Thursday it will display prediction market data from Kalshi and Polymarket directly in its search results and Google Finance platform. The feature allows users to view real-time probabilities for future events by typing questions into the search bar.

The prediction market integration is part of a larger upgrade to Google Finance. The company is adding AI-powered features including Deep Search, which uses Google’s Gemini models to generate financial answers.

Users will be able to ask questions like “Will the U.S. enter a recession in 2025?” or “Who will win the 2024 U.S. presidential election?” The results will show current market odds along with charts displaying how probabilities have shifted over time.

Polymarket was founded in 2020 as a decentralized prediction platform on the Polygon blockchain. Kalshi launched in 2018 as a CFTC-regulated exchange offering event contracts within the traditional financial system.

Both platforms let users place wagers on various events. These range from sports and political outcomes to questions like “Trump declassifies UFO files before 2027?” or “Will Zohran Mamdani freeze NYC rent next year?”

Prediction markets work by letting people buy and sell shares in future event outcomes. The resulting prices reflect the market’s collective expectations about what will happen.

Prediction Markets Enter Mainstream Platforms

Google is not alone in adding prediction market features to its platform. Robinhood launched a prediction market hub in its app in March through KalshiEX LLC.

The feature became available across the United States. Bloomberg reported in September that Robinhood was talking with the UK Financial Conduct Authority about launching a similar product in England.

MetaMask announced plans to integrate Polymarket in October. Global product lead Gal Eldar said the move aligns with the company’s goal of expanding beyond a crypto wallet into a gateway for democratized finance.

World App, the digital wallet from Sam Altman’s World project, also integrated Polymarket in October. The integration gives users in permitted regions access to onchain prediction markets.

Bloomberg reported Tuesday that crypto exchange Gemini is planning to enter the prediction market space. The company has not announced specific details about its plans.

The prediction market data feature is currently rolling out to users through Google Labs. Google expects broader access to become available in the coming weeks.

Google also announced the updated Google Finance platform will expand beyond the United States. India will be the first international market to receive the new features.
