Ripple Drops $25M Bomb on US Education—Because Even Crypto Bros Need Future Bagholders
Ripple’s latest move? A $25 million ’philanthropic’ play targeting US classrooms—because what better way to secure regulatory goodwill than by bankrolling the next generation of crypto users?
The blockchain giant’s pledge—dressed as altruism—smacks of strategic positioning. Teachers get tech grants, Ripple gets PR points, and Wall Street rolls its eyes at another tech firm buying influence with loose change from their war chest.
One question remains: Will they pay schools in XRP?

Ripple Unveils $25 Million Pledge to US Education Nonprofits
Ripple has continued to be one of the most important firms in the digital asset sector. Moreover, it is facing what is undoubtedly its most important year ever. The company had long found itself in the crosshairs of the US Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) of a previous regime.
With that legal battle keeping its value stagnant, a resolution has it free to continue its growth. Now, it is working to give back while it continues to move forward. Indeed, Ripple has announced a new $25 million pledge to support US classrooms and teachers.
The fund will be given in the firm’s RLUSD stablecoin. Moreover, it will work to provide resources needed to “improve academic outcomes” of the modern student. In its press release, Ripple cited surveys that show a gradual dissatisfaction with US education. Subsequently, it is looking to play a part in fixing that.
“Ripple has always championed financial and educational access for all,” CEO Brad Garlinghouse said. “We’re partnering with some of the most impactful organizations… to benefit thousands of classrooms across the US.” The first-of-its-kind move will see the company’s stablecoin be front and center in the charitable act.
