NYSE, Securitize to Develop 24/7 Tokenized Securities Platform

The New York Stock Exchange announced Tuesday it is partnering with digital asset securities firm Securitize to develop a 24/7 trading platform for tokenized securities, marking Wall Street's most significant institutional push into blockchain-based financial infrastructure. The collaboration will establish a digital transfer agent program enabling on-chain settlement of tokenized security transactions, with both firms developing regulatory and operational standards for institutional-grade digital assets—potentially transforming traditional market hours and settlement cycles.
