Uber Reveals Nvidia-Powered, Self-Driving Taxis Coming in 2027

Uber Technologies and Nvidia have announced a partnership to launch a fleet of Level 4 autonomous taxis in 2027, with the service set to debut in Los Angeles and San Francisco before expanding to 28 cities globally. Nvidia CEO Jensen Huang declared the autonomous vehicle revolution has arrived, calling it the 'first multitrillion-dollar robotics industry,' with the company also providing systems for Lyft, Bolt, and Grab's self-driving initiatives.
