Litecoin Breaks Out: Could LTC Rally 94% in 2025?

The volume of trading is strong at $435.51 million, an increase of 12.22 %, with the weekly price action recording a 1.20% increase. There are strong technical indicators supporting a positive trend despite the moderate fluctuations.

Crypto analyst VipRoseTr describes Litecoin’s four-day graph as a typical pattern known as a “falling wedge.” Such a pattern typically signifies the end of the decline and the beginning of an increase. The price broke from the pattern sometime in the middle of May at about $78.80, which WOULD imply a reversal.

VipRoseTr expects the stock to increase to $108.71, $132.24, or even $153.11. If the latter mark is reached, that would be an increase of 94% from the breakout level.

When the price broke out from the wedge, the trading volume also rose, strengthening the prediction. Litecoin is currently resting just below a critical resistance zone between $90 and $100 that can propel the price further up.

May 2025’s predicted price for Litecoin is between $95.19 and $97.66, slightly higher than the current prices but within a very narrow band.

Conversely, DigitalCoinPrice predicts a sharp rise with LTC perhaps hitting $210.17 by the close of the year, even as much as $412.96 if the upward movement is maintained. Such varying predictions highlight the fickle nature of the cryptocurrency market where sentiments and the direction of the movement can propel prices above conventional expectations.

Adding to the bullish sentiment is Litecoin’s past performance. In January 2025, the coin reportedly peaked at $140.17 before retracing below the $95 mark, demonstrating its volatility and upside potential.
