Jeff Bezos’ Blue Origin Now Takes Bitcoin & Crypto for Space Flights – Moon Lambos Next?
Blue Origin just blasted traditional payment methods into obsolescence. Jeff Bezos’ aerospace company will now accept Bitcoin and cryptocurrencies for its luxury space trips—because what better way to spend your volatile digital gains than on a suborbital joyride?
Crypto to the Cosmos
The move signals another mainstream embrace of crypto—this time, quite literally reaching for the stars. No more cashing out to fiat; your bags can now buy a seat alongside billionaires and space tourists.
A Hedge Against Gravity (and Inflation)
With crypto payments, Blue Origin taps into the ultimate flex: converting speculative assets into an even more speculative experience. Because if your portfolio survives the crypto winter, why not celebrate by burning some tokens on a rocket ride?
Final Thought
Wall Street still won’t touch crypto? Cool. The real money’s in escaping Earth—and paying for it with digital monopoly money.

Jeff Bezos’s Blue Origin Jumps to Accept Crypto Payments
The integration will allow all customers the option to connect their crypto wallets and process secure, direct, and instant crypto payments.
“Our mission has always been to revolutionize commerce by simplifying the transaction process,” said Shift4 CEO Taylor Lauber while describing the partnership with Blue Origin as a thrilling extension of his company’s vision beyond Earth.
He said the goal of the initiative was to make space accessible to all explorers across the world by providing a simple, smooth, and seamless payment experience.
Jeff Bezos founded Blue Origin in 2000 and launched its first tourist crew program flight in July 2021 on the Shephard spacecraft. Fast forward to today, the space program recently completed its 34th flight for the New Shepard program and 14th human spaceflight.
In its latest expedition, Blue Origin had on board TRON founder H.E. Justin Sun, Deborah Martore, Lionel Pitchford, Gokhan Erdem, and Arvi Bahal. The total number of people who have boarded the New Shepard to space reached 75, with five of them returning for the second time.
Through such integrations, Shift4 continues to build on its goal of innovating payments and expanding its network of global partners to help provide convenient payment solutions for customers across the globe.
By collaborating with Blue Origin, the space tourist program will tap into the growing number of cryptocurrency holders and offer faster settlement times for both local and international transactions for anyone who wants to explore space.
Justin Sun Made History After Boarding Blue Origin
Meanwhile, Justin Sun’s boarding of the August 3 Blue Origin space expedition made him history’s youngest Chinese-born commercial astronaut.
Besides, it also made him the crypto industry’s first Forbes-featured entrepreneur to cross the Kármán line, the globally recognized space boundary.
Sun, who also won the bid for the New Shepard’s first seat in 2021, said he waited four years for the mission and thanked Mr. Bezos for making space travel a reality.
Bitcoin User Growth Reaches Annual High
As sectors such as space exploration eye the simplicity and affordability of crypto payments, the number of newly created Bitcoin addresses per day has been increasing and reached 364,126, its highest in a year.
According to comments on a post on X shared by Ali Martinez, the majority believe cryptocurrency is catching on, while various others said retail was waking up.
As of this writing, bitcoin trades at $119,916, with several sources, including Merlijn Trader, justifying that the current price pattern mirrors the period just before Bitcoin explodes into a parabolic rally.
Meanwhile, the world is warming up for global crypto adoption as brands like Blue Origin, Tesla, and PayPal roll out integrations to accept Bitcoin and crypto payments.
Notably, paying with crypto will help customers avoid the high cost of processing fees associated with traditional credit card transactions.
