The guest list for the White House Crypto Summit has been unveiled, featuring prominent industry leaders, while some key figures remain absent. As the event approaches, the list continues to expand, drawing attention to the administration’s approach to digital asset discussions.

According to Fox Business journalist Eleanor Terrett, the March 7 Crypto Summit is expected to host around 20 to 25 participants. Two sources familiar with the event indicated that the gathering will be smaller than initially expected.

The Crypto Summit will take place at the White House in a roundtable format, featuring key members of the Presidential Working Group on Digital Assets. Due to this structured setting, the number of industry invitees will be more limited.

According to Terrett, Bo Hines, Executive Director of the Presidential Council of Advisers for Digital Assets, and David Sacks, White House Artificial Intelligence and Cryptocurrency Czar, are the confirmed policy advisers set to attend the upcoming summit.

However, the Fox Business journalist anticipates that Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent, Commerce Secretary Howard Lutnick, Attorney General Pam Bondi, Acting Chairman of the United States Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) Mark Uyeda, and Acting Chairman of the Commodity Futures Trading Commission (CFTC) Caroline Pham will also be present at the event.

The current roster of confirmed cryptocurrency executives and government officials set to attend the event includes the following individuals:

Furthermore, Terrett reports that invitations for the event were distributed via email, confirming that the summit will take place from 1:30 PM to 5:30 PM. Following Terrett’s update, X user Brian Hassine speculated that Ripple CEO Brad Garlinghouse may have received his invitation separately, as Garlinghouse had hinted at his attendance a day before the emails were sent.

Which means @bgarlinghouse was given his invitation independently since he already mentioned yesterday he would be there.

Garlinghouse suggested his attendance in a March 2 post on X, shortly after Sacks announced the summit on March 1.

I’ve said this before – the crypto industry will achieve our goals (and beyond), IF WE WORK TOGETHER. Appreciate the crypto President @realDonaldTrump’s vision of a govt digital asset reserve representative of the industry.

Reports indicate that plans for the summit remain subject to change, with final details yet to be confirmed in the days leading up to the Cryptocurrency Summit.

Crypto Summit No Shows?

Despite the growing list of prominent cryptocurrency leaders attending the event, several key figures have yet to confirm their participation. Among them are Cardano founder Charles Hoskinson, Solana founder Anatoly Yakovenko, and Ethereum co-founder Vitalik Buterin, though it remains unclear whether they have received invitations or simply have not confirmed their attendance.

Furthermore, Terrett reports that an invite-only reception is being organized NEAR the White House for individuals who were not invited to participate in the roundtable discussion.

The absence of Buterin, Yakovenko, and Hoskinson from the confirmed attendee list is notable, particularly as Ethereum (ETH), Solana (SOL), and Cardano (ADA) are reportedly being considered for inclusion in the proposed U.S. Crypto Reserve.

Their absence has prompted speculation about the selection process for invitations and the focus of the summit. While other executives have been linked to the event, the lack of confirmation regarding the participation of key blockchain developers suggests that the discussions may be centered on regulatory and financial considerations rather than the technical aspects of blockchain innovation.
