US Women in Finance Awards: Nomination Deadline Approaches Fast - Last Chance to Recognize Industry Trailblazers!

The clock's ticking for nominations recognizing female leaders driving innovation across banking, investment, and emerging digital asset sectors. These awards spotlight the professionals breaking barriers in traditionally male-dominated fields.

Why This Matters Now

With diversity metrics still lagging across major financial institutions, public recognition creates crucial visibility for rising talent. Past honorees have leveraged the platform to secure board positions and funding rounds.

The selection committee evaluates impact beyond traditional metrics—looking at mentorship initiatives, ecosystem development, and how nominees navigate regulatory gray areas that often stall progress.

Final submissions close September 30th, giving firms barely two weeks to assemble nomination packages. Because nothing moves slower than finance HR—except maybe blockchain confirmation times.

Markets Media Group is pleased to present the 11th-annual Women in Finance Awards, to be held on November 11, 2025, at The Plaza Hotel in New York — the first time the event will be hosted at this landmark venue.

Since its start in 2015 as a luncheon, the WIF Awards have grown into a major evening program, adding new categories and honors each year, including the Instinet Positive Impact Award and the Mizuho Corporate Culture Award. What has remained constant is the Core mission: recognizing and celebrating the most talented and accomplished women across the financial sector.

The program recognizes achievements across capital markets, ranging from institutional investors and broker-dealers to exchanges, technology providers, wealth managers, venture capital firms, and start-ups. Nominations are open through September 16, and we encourage readers to put forward colleagues and peers whose achievements deserve recognition.

Nominations are submitted by readers of Markets Media and Traders Magazine, and the final shortlists and winners are chosen by the editorial teams alongside  the WIF Advisory Board.

Liliane Ancona

Last year’s program highlighted a wide range of achievements, with BlackRock’s Liliane Ancona receiving the Lifetime Achievement Award, Deutsche Bank’s Susie Roberts recognized as a Trailblazer, and Bank of America’s Olga Czabaj-Shetty honored for Excellence in AI/ML.
