Trump Family’s Expanding Crypto Business

Founded by Donald Trump Jr. and Eric Trump, American bitcoin represents an expanding branch of Trump-linked ventures. Additionally, the company went public earlier this year through a merger with Gryphon Digital Mining, which trades on Nasdaq. Consequently, this listing gave it the capital access needed to pursue global acquisitions.

Moreover, the firm has already started building a Bitcoin treasury. By June 10, it held 215 Bitcoin. Shortly after, on June 30, it announced a $200 million raise to grow its treasury and buy additional mining equipment.

Following Strategy’s Proven Blueprint

The model mirrors that of Strategy, led by Michael Saylor, which now holds 628,946 BTC worth $73.8 billion. On Monday, it added another 155 BTC valued at $18 million. Additionally, Japanese firm Metaplanet expanded its holdings to 18,133 BTC, worth $2.1 billion. Hence, the competition to stockpile Bitcoin continues to intensify.

If American Bitcoin completes its MOVE into Japan or Hong Kong, it could dramatically expand its global reach. However, the company emphasized it has yet to make binding commitments. As of the writing, Bitcoin is trading at 117,855, up 1% past day.
