SharpLink Gaming Goes Big on ETH: Holdings Blast Past 480K in Strategic Accumulation
SharpLink Gaming just doubled down on Ethereum—hard. Their latest buying spree pushes their ETH war chest beyond 480,000 coins. That’s not a typo.
Why It Matters: While traditional finance plays catch-up with blockchain adoption, gaming firms are quietly stacking crypto like it’s digital gold. SharpLink’s aggressive accumulation signals confidence in ETH’s long-term utility—or just a slick hedge against inflation (looking at you, fiat printers).
The Bottom Line: When gaming companies hold more ETH than some small nations’ GDP, maybe it’s time to rethink what ‘play money’ really means. Bonus jab: Meanwhile, Wall Street still thinks ‘HODL’ is a typo.
Ethereum’s Strongest Corporate Holder
SharpLink’s growing ETH stack shows it is taking a long-term position in Ethereum. With over 480K ETH now held, it stands out as one of the most aggressive corporate buyers of ETH on record, following the Bitmine Immersion Tech reserve of over 624K ETH.
The latest 30,755 ETH, purchased using over $108 million USDC, adds to this position. The buys were spotted in two parts: 15,822 ETH and 14,933 ETH, according to on-chain data from Lookonchain and Arkham Intelligence.
While no additional purchases have been confirmed yet, the company is expected to update its reserve holdings soon.
