Why SharpLink Declares Ethereum Alone Holds the Key to Financial Revolution
Ethereum isn't just another crypto—it's the only blockchain with the architecture to rebuild finance from the ground up.
The Smart Contract Standard
While competitors chase scalability, Ethereum's decentralized ecosystem already runs trillion-dollar DeFi markets. Its network effect creates an unbreakable moat—developers build where users already live.
Institutional Adoption Accelerates
Major banks now tokenize assets on Ethereum while legacy systems crumble under outdated infrastructure. The merge to proof-of-stake slashed energy use by 99.95%, silencing critics who called crypto environmentally irresponsible.
The Interoperability Advantage
Ethereum's layer-2 solutions process transactions faster than Visa—without sacrificing security. Meanwhile, traditional finance still struggles with three-day settlement cycles (a relic from the paper era).
Perhaps the most telling sign? Wall Street firms who once dismissed crypto now scramble to hire Ethereum developers—too bad they're about 10 years behind the curve.
Why SharpLink is Bullish on Ethereum
DAT firms hold cryptocurrencies or digital assets as a Core part of their treasury strategy. Since it began purchasing ETH in June, SharpLink has accumulated 838,150 ETH in three months.
“Secure payments and asset tokenization will define the future of financial innovation,” said Joseph Chalom, the company’s co-CEO. Before joining SharpLink, Chalom spent two decades at BlackRock, where he helped launch the firm’s spot Bitcoin ETF and an ethereum fund. He also gained experience managing stablecoin reserves while at Circle, the issuer of USDC.
Why Institutions Are Turning to Ethereum
Chalom believes the digital asset boom that began under the TRUMP administration will ultimately flow into the real-world asset (RWA) sector. He explained that stocks, bonds, funds, and other instruments that once traded across fragmented platforms will migrate to blockchain as a single, unified infrastructure.
Today, the value of tokenized assets stands at only $30 billion, Chalom noted. But he expects virtually every stock, bond, fund, and real estate property will eventually exist digitally. “This shift will overwhelm the current system in transaction speed, transparency, and reliability,” he said.
Chalom added that RWA markets are likely to become a battleground for institutions. At that point, Ethereum’s security and decentralized validation will become decisive advantages. He stressed that institutional investors already view Ethereum as a trusted network, pointing out that more than 60% of major stablecoins and tokenized funds are built on Ethereum today.
He specifically highlighted that institutions trust Ethereum’s security and decentralized validation structure. He noted that over 60% of major stablecoins and tokenized funds operate on the Ethereum network. Chalom clarified that the company’s goal is “long-term financial innovation, not short-term price appreciation.” He also stated that SharpLink will build the future financial infrastructure by combining Ethereum-based DeFi and artificial intelligence (AI).
