Is Binance closing USDT?

There have been rumors that Binance might close USDT due to regulatory pressures, specifically the EU's MiCA framework requiring stablecoin issuers to be licensed and have proper reserves. However, Binance later clarified that it would only delist USDT and other non-compliant stablecoins for European Economic Area users, not globally.
