Tron is a blockchain-based decentralized platform, while TRC20 is a token standard operating on the TRON blockchain, similar to ERC20 on Ethereum. Tron and TRC20 are not the same; the former is the platform, and the latter is a standard for tokens issued on that platform. Are Tron and TRC20 the same?
