Where do I check my airdrops?

Once you've selected the app, the file will be directed to a dedicated folder within that app. For instance, images go to the Photos app's library, while documents might end up in the Files app or a specified folder within it.

On an iPhone or Mac, when you receive files via AirDrop, the process is seamless and straightforward. Upon receiving a file, you'll be prompted to accept it. Once accepted, the file is immediately available for you to use.

To access the file, you need to choose the appropriate application to open it with. This could be any program compatible with the file type, such as Photos for images or Documents for PDFs. The system will guide you through this selection process.

On a Mac, if you're unsure where the file has landed, open Finder. Your first instinct might be to check the Downloads folder, as this is a common destination for incoming files. Look through the recently added items to see if your AirDropped file is there.

If the Downloads folder doesn't contain your AirDropped file, don't panic. There's another place to look: the dedicated AirDrop folder. This folder, located in the sidebar of Finder, is specifically designed to store files received via AirDrop. Simply click on it, and you should find your file listed among the others.
