I've heard about Ethereum 2.0 and I'm wondering if it uses a proof-of-stake consensus mechanism. I know that Ethereum 1.0 used proof-of-work, but I'm not sure if the upgrade to 2.0 included a switch to proof-of-stake. Can someone confirm this for me? Does Ethereum 2.0 use proof-of-stake?
