I heard some news about Ethereum and I'm wondering if there's any truth to the rumor that they're shutting down the Goerli testnet. Could someone please clarify if this is happening or not?

The original date set by Alchemy was April 3, 2021.

Once our Goerli nodes are turned off, any requests sent to them will not be processed.

We have decided to deactivate our Goerli nodes for Ethereum on a specific date.
