In 2024, CERN is actively engaged in various research and development activities. It continues to facilitate collaborations among researchers and medical providers, making new discoveries in ependymoma and other areas. CERN also awarded a scientific fellowship to advance pediatric ependymoma research. Additionally, CERN released the third edition of the Ependymoma Guide and organized creative writing projects to raise awareness. On the technology front, CERN is upgrading detectors and conducting physics research with its Large Hadron Collider, furthering our understanding of particle physics and the universe.
