What is CAS ranking?

CAS ranking, or CAS Journal Ranking, is an evaluation tool developed by the Chinese Academy of Sciences to assess the influence of academic journals. It aims to correct the tendency of relying solely on the number of SCI papers or the impact factor of journals, and instead provides a more comprehensive evaluation based on objective data and scientific metrology methods. The ranking considers both international and domestic academic journals and categorizes them into different levels of influence.
