I'm wondering if there's a cap on the amount of Bitcoin that can be mined. Is there a maximum limit set in place for Bitcoin mining, or can it go on indefinitely? Is there a limit to how much Bitcoin can be mined?

When the Bitcoin supply approaches its upper limit, the mining rewards will gradually decrease until no additional Bitcoins are generated.
