Patients with an OMI score ranging from 5 to 20 were classified as intermediate risk. This group represented those who were at a moderate level of risk and required closer monitoring and potentially more aggressive management strategies.

Individuals with an OMI score exceeding 20 were designated as high-risk. This category encompassed patients who faced a significantly elevated risk of adverse outcomes and necessitated prompt and intensive interventions.

To comply with established guidelines, we devised a risk scoring system to categorize patients into distinct risk groups. This approach allowed for the identification of individuals at varying levels of risk, namely low, intermediate, and high.
