Can I use USD in Hong Kong?

Hello there, I'm curious about something. I'm planning a trip to Hong Kong soon and I'm wondering if I can use USD there for my expenses. I understand that Hong Kong has its own currency, the Hong Kong dollar, but I'm not sure if USD is widely accepted. Would it be convenient to use USD in Hong Kong or should I go through the hassle of exchanging my money to Hong Kong dollars?
