Why can't you eat with Blexten?

Excuse me, could you elaborate on why it's not possible to dine with Blexten? Is there some sort of dietary restriction or allergy that I'm unaware of? Or perhaps there's a cultural or religious reason behind this? Additionally, is Blexten perhaps a fictional character or entity that doesn't physically exist, thus making dining together an impossibility?
