Can I use Mac Prep and Prime as a primer?

Hello there, I'm curious about something regarding beauty products. I've heard a lot about Mac Prep and Prime, and I'm wondering if it can be used as a primer for my makeup routine. I've always been a fan of Mac products, and I'm interested in trying out this one in particular. But before I make a purchase, I'd like to know if it's suitable for use as a primer.
