Which way do you cut a lemon for squeezing?

Excuse me, but I'm curious to know your preferred method for cutting a lemon before squeezing it. Do you opt for slicing it into even wedges, perhaps believing that this allows for maximum juice extraction? Or do you go for a more unconventional approach, like quartering it and then squeezing each piece individually? Is there a particular technique you've found to be most effective in terms of getting the most juice out of your lemon?
