How do I add Wi-Fi to my WiFi Map?

Hello there, I'm curious about how I can go about adding Wi-Fi to my WiFi Map. I've been using the app for a while and it's been quite helpful in tracking down nearby networks, but I'm not sure how to add my own network to the map. Is there a specific process I need to follow, or is it as simple as connecting to the network and letting the app do its thing? Any guidance you can provide would be much appreciated.
