Is a BSc better than a BA?

I've often heard people debating whether a Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree is inherently better than a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree. But is this really the case? Is the scientific rigor of a BSc truly superior to the critical thinking and communication skills developed through a BA program? Or is it more about the individual's interests and career aspirations? And what about the potential for cross-disciplinary learning within either program? Shouldn't we be focusing on the value each degree brings to the table, rather than trying to pit one against the other?
