Can you put a wake tower on any boat?

I'm curious, is it feasible to attach a wake tower to any type of boat? I understand that wake towers are commonly seen on wakeboarding boats, but I'm wondering if the installation process is universal and can be done on other types of vessels as well. Would the boat's size, weight, or engine power play a role in determining if a wake tower can be installed safely and effectively? I'd appreciate any insights you may have on this matter.
