Is BIM easy to learn?

I've heard a lot about Building Information Modeling, or BIM, and I'm curious about its learning curve. Is BIM easy to learn, or does it require a steep learning process? I'm interested in adopting it for my construction projects, but I want to make sure I have a good understanding of what I'm getting into before diving in. Can you tell me more about the process of learning BIM, including any prerequisites or specialized skills that may be necessary?
