Do aggregators make money?

Are aggregators in the cryptocurrency and finance space actually able to turn a profit, or do they operate solely as a service to users? I understand that they collect data from various sources and present it in a more user-friendly format, but I'm curious about their business model. Do they generate revenue through advertising, subscription fees, or some other means? And how sustainable is this revenue stream in the long term? Is it feasible for aggregators to not only survive, but thrive in this competitive landscape?
