Are there wombats in the US?

I'm curious to know, are there wombats native to the United States? It's a question that's piqued my interest, given the unique fauna found in different parts of the world. I understand wombats are known for their burrowing habits and unique physical features, so I'm wondering if they've managed to make their way to North America.
