Can anyone read tarot cards?

I'm curious, can anyone really read tarot cards? I've heard some people claim to have a special gift for interpreting the symbols and meanings behind the cards, but is it really something that anyone can learn and do? Or is it more of a mystical, intuitive practice that requires a certain level of spiritual awareness or psychic ability? I'm interested in learning more about the process and whether or not it's something that I could potentially develop a skill in.
