Are Carvin amps discontinued?

I've been hearing rumors that Carvin amps have been discontinued. Is this true? I've always been a big fan of their amplifiers and was hoping to add a new one to my collection. Can you confirm whether or not Carvin amps are still being produced and available for purchase? If they are no longer in production, what are some alternative brands that offer similar quality and sound?
