Who is the father of BIM?

Who, then, can be credited as the father of Building Information Modeling, or BIM? Is it a solitary inventor who came up with the concept in a flash of inspiration? Or perhaps it's the collective effort of numerous architects, engineers, and software developers over time? Some point to Chuck Eastman, an early adopter and advocate of digital modeling in the 1970s, as a key figure. Others argue that the concept has evolved from a combination of advancements in technology and changes in the construction industry itself. Who, in your opinion, deserves the title of the father of BIM, and why?
