Will Fortnite go back to OG?

I'm curious, will Fortnite ever revert to its OG (Original Game) state? Many fans of the game have expressed a desire to see the game go back to its roots, with its simpler gameplay and more limited features. But with constant updates and new additions, it seems the game has evolved significantly since its inception. What are your thoughts on this? Do you think Epic Games would ever consider reverting Fortnite to its OG state, or is it a case of 'you can't go back'?
