Can I call the police if someone doxxed me?

If someone were to "doxx" me, which I understand as the act of publicly revealing personal or private information about me without my consent, would it be appropriate for me to call the police? I'm just trying to understand my legal options and whether or not this would be considered a crime that the authorities could potentially investigate.
