Why is Dynamesh not working?

Hello there, I'm having an issue with Dynamesh that I'm hoping you can help me with. Basically, I'm trying to use the tool to refine my 3D model, but it seems to be unresponsive or not working properly. Could you tell me some potential reasons why this might be happening?
